How it works

The AI Voice Generator converts your text into spoken audio with a neural text-to-speech model — the same kind of technology behind modern AI assistants, producing speech with natural intonation, rhythm, and emotion rather than the flat, robotic output of older systems.

When you click Generate voice, your text and chosen options are sent to our server, which forwards them to the voice engine and streams the finished audio straight back to your browser. We run it server-side for two reasons: the audio model isn't something your browser can run, and it keeps the connection secure. Your text is used only to produce the audio — we don't store it, and it's never written to our logs.

You control the result in three ways. First, the voice — each of the five voices (Eve, Ara, Leo, Rex, Sal) has a distinct gender and tone, from energetic to authoritative. Second, the language — pick one of 28 languages, or let Auto-detect infer it from your text. Third, effects: inline tags such as [laugh] or [pause] drop a sound at a specific point, while wrapping tags such as <whisper>…</whisper> or <slow>…</slow> change how a phrase is delivered. Under audio options you can choose MP3 or lossless WAV and dial in the sample rate and bit rate for studio-grade output.

Each request is capped at 6,000 characters with a fair-use limit per visitor so the tool stays free for everyone. Most generations finish in 3–5 seconds; longer scripts take a little more. If the engine is briefly warming up you may see a quick retry message.

Examples

  1. Natural narration: paste a paragraph, choose Leo (authoritative), language English, and generate — ideal for explainer videos and course intros.
  2. Expressive delivery: try Welcome back! <whisper>I missed you</whisper> [laugh] just kidding. with Eve to hear whispering, a laugh, and a tone shift in one clip.
  3. Another language: set language to Hindi (or Auto-detect) and paste Hindi text with Ara for a warm, natural read — then download the MP3.
