induwara.lk publishes figures people act on — exam cut-offs, tax rates, exam fees — and it publishes them with a lot of machine help. That combination produces errors. This page lists the ones that reached a live page and have since been fixed, so you can check whether a number you took from here was one of them.

A correction is listed here when a published figure, date, code or factual claim was wrongand has been changed. An authority publishing a new value is not a correction; that is a data update, and it shows up as the “last verified” date on the tool itself.

If you think something here is still wrong, please tell Induwara Ashinsana. Reports get checked against the official source, and anything that turns out to be an error is fixed and added to this list.

  1. Store

    Fortinet FortiManager and FortiNAC were listed at the wrong NSE level

    What it said:
    Both exams were sold and described as NSE 5 products, and the product headings contradicted the exam codes printed further down the same page.
    What it says now:
    Both are listed as NSE 6. Fortinet moved them on 15 July 2026, and the codes and headings now agree.

    AB-730 was described as a data-engineering exam

    What it said:
    The AB-730 voucher was filed under other vendors and described as an exam for data engineers.
    What it says now:
    It is listed as Microsoft Certified: AI Business Professional, a beginner-level exam for business roles, not engineers.

    What it said:
    The MCE product title and summary presented it as a certification for system administrators.
    What it says now:
    It is presented as what it is: a certification for teachers and educators.

    Grade 5 scholarship school cut-off marks were invented, not transcribed

    What it said:
    The page carried nine hand-picked boys' schools whose cut-off marks were 7 to 11 marks too high — Royal College was shown as 184 against an official 175, Thurstan as 171 against 162 — and the page claimed the figures were verified.
    What it says now:
    The Ministry of Education's complete signed release is transcribed in full: 302 schools across 24 districts, in both Sinhala and Tamil medium, each keyed to its Ministry census number. Every page of the scan was transcribed by hand and independently re-read by a second verifier before it shipped.
