Balance Check Codes: Dialog, Mobitel, Hutch, Airtel

Pick your network and what you want done, and get the exact code to dial plus the menu options to press after it. Every code comes from the operator's own page, quoted, with the date it was checked. Where an operator publishes nothing, this says so.

#678#

Step 01 is the code above. Then press, in the operator's own wording

  1. Step 02. Select option 4. Mobile Data Plans (Unlimited FB and WhatsApp, 4G Work and Learn, and Monthly rental plans)
“Dial USSD code #678# from your mobile to access the functions related to Mobile and Home Broadband services”

Dialog publishes no single code that prints your balance on its dial-codes page. This is the documented menu route to your data plans and usage.

Charge: USSD menu charges are not published on the page this came from, so none are claimed here. Check with the operator before you use it if the cost matters.

Other documented routes

  • MyDialog app
  • #107# then option 4. My Bill and Share Credit, for bill and credit information

A phone link cannot always start a USSD session: iOS Safari will not dial one at all and Android diallers differ by handset maker. If the button does nothing, copy the code and paste it into your dialler.

Sources cited: every code here was read off the operator's own page on 2026-10-19, and each row links back to it. Across the four networks that is 31 codes, 34 transcribed menu options and 10 jobs where the operator publishes nothing and this tool says so instead of guessing. Every dataset check passes: each answer traces back to a transcribed code, each citation sits on the operator's own domain, each dial string is encoded for a phone link, no uncited code ships, no job is answered twice, and every row carries a verified date.

How it works

There is no arithmetic on this page. The work is transcription, pairing, job selection and dial-string encoding, and all four are worth stating, because the usual failure mode of a dial-code page is a code nobody can cite.

Transcription. One row per published code, each carrying the operator's own sentence or table label, quoted rather than paraphrased: 31 codes and 34 menu options across the four networks. If an operator does not say what a code does, the row does not exist.

Label-to-code pairing. Mobitel publishes its self-care codes as a two-column table, so the pairing has to be proved rather than assumed. 11 of the Mobitel codes here are quoted from a prose sentence elsewhere on the same page that states the pairing outright, for example “Dial #132# or *132# from your Mobitel connection to check the below Re Registration details.” Those sentences establish the table's order as label first, code second, and the remaining 6 rows are accepted on that ordering. The code table marks which basis each row rests on, so you can judge it yourself.

Job selection. A job maps to at most one code per network and connection type. The lookup is a membership test, not a fallback, so a Dialog TV line never inherits a mobile answer. Where an operator documents nothing for a job, the tool returns a written note and the operator's own documented entry points instead of a code. 10 jobs are answered that way. This is the rule that keeps #456# off the page, and that keeps #111# labelled as mCash rather than as the Mobitel balance.

Dial-string encoding. A phone link cannot carry a raw hash: it ends the URL, so a link to #678# reaches the dialler empty. Each code is percent-encoded first, turning #678# into tel:%23678%23 and *123# into tel:*123%23. Even then, iOS Safari will not start a USSD session from a link, so every code has a copy control beside it.

Charges. None of the pages cited here publishes a charge for dialling the self-care menus, and none says the session is free either, so this page asserts neither. What each row does carry is the operator's own figure for the service behind the code: Airtel's data loan costs 20MB on a 200MB loan and 50MB on a 500MB loan, Reload Share is free of charge, and the missed-call reload is Rs 100 at a time up to Rs 500. Where the operator publishes no figure, the row says so instead of implying the service is free.

What is checked. Seven tests run over the dataset on every render: each answer traces to a transcribed code, each citation sits on the operator's own domain, each dial string encodes cleanly, no blocklisted code ships, no job is answered twice, no row is scoped to a connection type its network does not publish, and every row carries a verified date. The result is printed inside the tool card rather than claimed here.

Worked examples

Dialog, prepaid · Check my data balance

#678# then option 4

  1. Dialog's dial-codes page publishes no standalone balance code.
  2. #678# opens the Mobile and Home Broadband self-help menu.
  3. Option 4 is Mobile Data Plans (Unlimited FB and WhatsApp, 4G Work and Learn, and Monthly rental plans).
  4. Tap-to-dial link: tel:%23678%23
  5. On a Home Broadband line the route is option 7 instead, then your broadband number.

Mobitel, postpaid · Check my bill

#1456#, no menu

  1. Mobitel: 'Dial #1456# from you Mobitel phone to get an instant bill update to your phone.'
  2. One code does the whole job, so there are no options to press.
  3. The IVR alternative is a voice call to 1456, which reads the bill out in your chosen language.
  4. To stop e-billing and get the paper bill back: #9900# then option 02.
  5. Tap-to-dial link: tel:%231456%23

Hutch, prepaid · Check my balance

*123# then option 2

  1. *123# opens the Ultimate Code master menu, nine options.
  2. Option 2 is Balance: 'check your available credit or outstanding for prepaid & postpaid'.
  3. Hutch is the only one of the four with an explicit balance option, so the cross-network row shows Hutch as published and the other three as menu routes or as nothing published.
  4. Tap-to-dial link: tel:*123%23

Mobitel, prepaid · Check my credit balance (the negative case)

No code published

  1. #111# is the code third-party pages print for this. Mobitel's own table labels #111# as mCash.
  2. Mobitel publishes no standalone balance code, so the tool returns a note, not a code.
  3. Documented entry points instead: #888#, the self-care information portal, and #147#, prepaid services.
  4. Also offered, both named on the same Mobitel page: the Mobitel Self Care App and the 1717 hotline.
  5. This is the edge case the whole page is built around: an honest blank beats a wrong code.
