Sri Lanka Skrill Fee Calculator (USD/EUR → LKR)
Skrill's real cost is the FX markup plus the withdrawal fee. Enter your wallet balance and this tool shows exactly how many rupees reach your Sri Lankan bank, line by line — and ranks whether a bank or card withdrawal keeps more. No signup, sources cited below.
How it works
Skrill is a common way for Sri Lankan freelancers, affiliate marketers and forex traders to hold foreign earnings, but its withdrawal cost is not a single number. It is two charges applied in sequence, using the rates from Skrill's public fees page (last verified 2026-07-17). Every rate is an editable default, so the tool stays correct if Skrill revises a fee or your account tier differs.
Let A be the amount in your wallet, x the FX markup, p the withdrawal-fee percentage, Fmin the minimum floor, and R the wallet→LKR rate. The chain is:
- Currency conversion — only when the withdrawal converts your wallet currency. Skrill adds a markup over the wholesale rate:
afterFx = A × (1 − x)(default 3.99% on a standard account). If you withdraw in the same currency, there is no conversion and this cost is zero. - Withdrawal fee — a percentage with a minimum floor, whichever is larger:
fee = max(afterFx × p, Fmin). For a bank transfer that is 1.75% with a EUR 3.50 minimum; for a card it is up to 3.99% with a EUR 0.99 minimum. The EUR floor is shown in your wallet currency using a reference rate, so you can see when it takes over on small amounts. ThennetWallet = afterFx − fee. - Net rupees —
netLKR = netWallet × Rat your exchange rate. The effective fee is (A − netWallet) ÷ A, so you can see the whole cost as one percentage.
Receiving money into Skrill is free when no conversion happens, so the tool models only the outbound path, which is where the Sri Lankan cost sits. The inactivity fee (EUR 5.00/month after 6 months of no activity) is a separate account charge, not a per-withdrawal cost, so it is flagged but kept out of the totals. To keep the result trustworthy, the net figure is computed a second time with an independent fees-summed formula — netWallet = A − (fxCost + fee) — and the two methods must agree to the cent before the “Cross-checked” badge appears.

Skrill's fees on this page were last cross-checked against the fees page on 2026-07-17. Because Skrill can change a fee at any time and rates vary by region and account tier, every rate in the calculator is an editable default — update it to match what your account shows for a precise figure.
