DOP-C02: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional
The DOP-C02 exam voucher costs Rs 79,800/= at induwara.lk, payable in Sri Lankan rupees by card or bank transfer. After payment our team confirms your order and sends the voucher code by email.
What this voucher is
Sitting DOP-C02: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional? This is the AWS exam voucher, priced locally. It is the exam fee itself — a single-use code you redeem when you book your exam with the vendor's testing provider. It is not a training course, a practice test bundle or a study guide.
Each voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, so you can book the exam when you are ready rather than the day you buy.
Who sits this exam
DOP-C02: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional is aimed at developers, sysadmins and architects working on cloud platforms. It is a professional-level exam and expects real working experience, not just study. Cloud credentials travel further than almost anything else on a Sri Lankan CV, because the platform is identical everywhere.
Why buy it here
Vendor exam fees are quoted in US dollars, which means the rupee price you actually pay depends on your card's rate on the day and whatever your bank adds on top. Here the price is fixed in rupees — Rs 79,800/= — so what you see is what leaves your account.
You can pay by card through PayHere, or by direct bank transfer if you would rather not put an exam fee on a card. Both are confirmed by us before anything is sent.
How delivery works
Delivery is handled by a person, not a script. Once your payment is confirmed, our team contacts you and sends the voucher code to the email address on your order. That usually happens the same day, and you will hear from us either way — if there is any delay sourcing a particular voucher, we tell you rather than leaving the order sitting.
If you need an invoice for an employer or a training budget, say so when you order and we will issue one against the order number.

What you get, and what happens next
What you get
One official single-use exam voucher for DOP-C02, DOP-C02: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional, covering the exam fee in full. It is a code, not a study course and not a practice test. There is nothing physical to ship and no delivery charge.
When it arrives
Emailed to the address on your order once we have confirmed the payment, by a person rather than automatically. In practice that is usually the same day and almost always within one working day. If sourcing a particular voucher is going to take longer, we tell you rather than leaving the order sitting.
How long it stays valid
12 months from purchase. Book and sit the exam before it expires, a code that has simply run out of time cannot be replaced, so do not buy months ahead of when you plan to use it.
How you redeem it
Book the exam with Pearson VUE as normal, then enter this code at the payment step instead of paying the fee. You choose the date, and whether you sit it at a test centre or from home with OnVUE proctoring.
If the code does not work
If the vendor rejects it when you try to redeem it, tell us straight away and we replace it or refund you in full. Contact us before the voucher’s own expiry date.
If you do not pass
A voucher covers one attempt. A retake needs a new voucher, and the vendor, not us, sets how long you must wait before sitting the exam again. Check the vendor’s retake policy before you book.
Changing your mind
Full refund for any reason as long as we have not yet sent the code, including if you realise you have ordered the wrong exam, which is easy to do when codes look alike. Once the code has been sent it cannot be refunded, because the code is the product and it is single-use. Refunds & delivery in full.

Where it leads
A professional-tier AWS certification is a clear, portable signal for remote and offshore platform roles. DOP-C02 covers the ground delivery and reliability teams are hired for: continuous delivery pipelines, configuration management and infrastructure as code, monitoring and logging, and incident and event response. It also has a concrete recertification benefit — AWS's recertification page lists passing DevOps Engineer - Professional as renewing the Developer - Associate and CloudOps (SysOps) - Associate certifications. Note this is a specific pathway, not a blanket rule that any higher exam renews anything below it.
Sitting this exam in Sri Lanka
DevOps and platform engineering are specialisms that certify well for remote and offshore work, because a professional-tier AWS credential is graded identically everywhere and needs no local context to interpret. DOP-C02 lists at 300 USD, twice the Associate tier, so it rewards people already working in the role rather than those studying toward it. AWS lists no prerequisite certification, so you can register directly. Of its four languages, English is the one relevant here — there is no Sinhala or Tamil version — and non-native English speakers can request the one-off 'ESL +30' accommodation for a 30-minute extension, which is worth having on a three-hour paper. Sit it at a Pearson VUE test centre or online proctored from home. The voucher is {{PRICE}}.
Where these details come from
Every fact on this page was read off the vendor’s own documentation. Vendors change exam content, pricing and retirement dates without notice, so check these before you book.
How long is DOP-C02 and how many questions does it have?
180 minutes for 75 questions. The exam guide states 65 of them affect your score and the exam 'includes 10 unscored questions' — a different split from the Associate exams, which carry 50 scored and 15 unscored. Question types are multiple choice and multiple response only.
What is the passing score for DevOps Engineer - Professional?
750 on a scaled range of 100 to 1,000, the highest threshold among the AWS exams commonly bought here. Scoring is compensatory, so only the overall scaled score decides and there is no minimum per domain.
Do I need an Associate certification before taking this?
No. AWS lists no prerequisite certification for DOP-C02. What the exam guide does recommend is 2 or more years of experience provisioning, operating and managing AWS environments, together with software development lifecycle experience and programming or scripting ability, plus experience building highly automated infrastructure and administering operating systems. In practice the exam assumes you have done the work rather than only studied it.
Which domains carry the most weight?
SDLC Automation leads at 22% of scored content. Configuration Management and IaC and Security and Compliance follow at 17% each, then Resilient Cloud Solutions and Monitoring and Logging at 15% each, and Incident and Event Response at 14%. The weighting is flatter than most AWS exams, so there is no single domain you can lean on.
What is not tested on DOP-C02?
The exam guide lists four areas as out of scope for the target candidate: possessing advanced networking knowledge such as advanced routing algorithms and failover techniques, providing deep-level security recommendations to developers, designing, querying and optimising the performance of databases, and developing full-stack application code. Advanced networking sits with Advanced Networking - Specialty (ANS-C01) instead — though note AWS is retiring that exam after 31 December 2026.
How soon can I retake it if I fail?
After 14 calendar days. AWS states there is no limit on exam attempts, but you must pay the full registration fee for each attempt — at the professional tier that is 300 USD list per attempt, so each retake needs its own voucher.
Does passing this renew my other AWS certifications?
Some of them, on a specific pathway. AWS's recertification page lists passing DevOps Engineer - Professional as renewing the Developer - Associate and CloudOps (SysOps) - Associate certifications. It does not work as a general rule for every certification you hold — for example there is no listed route by which DOP-C02 renews Cloud Practitioner — so check the recertification page for the exact pathway that applies to you.
