The eCDFP - Certified Digital Forensics Professional exam voucher costs Rs 64,900/= at induwara.lk, payable in Sri Lankan rupees by card or bank transfer. It is an official single-use voucher for the INE exam, not a practice test or a training course. The voucher is valid for 24 months from purchase. After payment our team confirms your order and sends the voucher code by email.
What this voucher is
eCDFP - Certified Digital Forensics Professional is the official INE exam voucher, sold in Sri Lankan rupees. It is the exam fee itself — a single-use code you redeem when you book your exam with the vendor's testing provider. It is not a training course, a practice test bundle or a study guide.
Each voucher is valid for 24 months from the date of purchase, so you can book the exam when you are ready rather than the day you buy.
Who sits this exam
eCDFP - Certified Digital Forensics Professional is aimed at SOC analysts, network engineers and anyone moving into a security role. It is a professional-level exam and expects real working experience, not just study. Sri Lankan banks, ISPs and BPO firms hire against named security certifications, and the exam fee is usually the part that stalls people.
Why buy it here
Vendor exam fees are quoted in US dollars, which means the rupee price you actually pay depends on your card's rate on the day and whatever your bank adds on top. Here the price is fixed in rupees — Rs 64,900/= — so what you see is what leaves your account.
You can pay by card through PayHere, or by direct bank transfer if you would rather not put an exam fee on a card. Both are confirmed by us before anything is sent.
How delivery works
Delivery is handled by a person, not a script. Once your payment is confirmed, our team contacts you and sends the voucher code to the email address on your order. That usually happens the same day, and you will hear from us either way — if there is any delay sourcing a particular voucher, we tell you rather than leaving the order sitting.
If you need an invoice for an employer or a training budget, say so when you order and we will issue one against the order number.
Exam at a glance
Passing score
76.7% — INE states verbatim: 'To be awarded the certification, you need to score a 76.7% or above.' This is the only exam in INE's security range that publishes its pass mark.
Prerequisites
None enforced — INE states 'Anyone can attempt the certification exam'. It describes the eCDFP as 'a certification for individuals with a highly technical understanding of networks, systems, and cyber attacks' and adds 'It's recommended to be competent in skills taught in the Digital Forensics Professional Learning Path'. Unlike most INE security exams, the page states the eCDFP can be purchased as a standalone certification, with INE Premium recommended rather than required.
Sat through
INE Security — online. INE states: 'Once you click on the "Begin certification process" button, you will receive an email with instructions regarding the scope of the engagement. This letter will contain everything you need to know to take your exam.' On submission, 'it will be automatically graded, and you will receive your results immediately.' No test centre.

What you get, and what happens next
What you get
One official single-use exam voucher for eCDFP, eCDFP - Certified Digital Forensics Professional, covering the exam fee in full. It is a code, not a study course and not a practice test. There is nothing physical to ship and no delivery charge.
When it arrives
Emailed to the address on your order once we have confirmed the payment, by a person rather than automatically. In practice that is usually the same day and almost always within one working day. If sourcing a particular voucher is going to take longer, we tell you rather than leaving the order sitting.
How long it stays valid
24 months from purchase. Book and sit the exam before it expires, a code that has simply run out of time cannot be replaced, so do not buy months ahead of when you plan to use it.
How you redeem it
Redeemed inside INE's own certification dashboard. There is no test centre and no separate booking to make. The code unlocks the attempt on your account.
If the code does not work
If the vendor rejects it when you try to redeem it, tell us straight away and we replace it or refund you in full. Contact us before the voucher’s own expiry date.
If you do not pass
A voucher covers one attempt. A retake needs a new voucher, and the vendor, not us, sets how long you must wait before sitting the exam again. Check the vendor’s retake policy before you book.
Changing your mind
Full refund for any reason as long as we have not yet sent the code, including if you realise you have ordered the wrong exam, which is easy to do when codes look alike. Once the code has been sent it cannot be refunded, because the code is the product and it is single-use. Refunds & delivery in full.
What the exam covers

Where it leads
Computer forensic analyst, digital forensic examiner and forensic technician — INE names these three roles explicitly, along with Managed Service Providers and Managed Security Service Providers. In Sri Lanka the demand sits mainly with financial-sector investigation functions and with consultancies handling client incident work.
Sitting this exam in Sri Lanka
Digital forensics work in Sri Lanka sits mostly with bank and financial-sector investigation teams, law-enforcement-adjacent consultancy, and service providers handling client incidents — INE names Managed Service Providers and Managed Security Service Providers among the audiences this exam is designed for. Two things make the eCDFP unusual for local buyers. It is the only INE security exam that publishes its pass mark, 76.7%, so you can calibrate preparation against a stated target instead of guessing. And it is the one INE page in this range that says the exam can be bought as a standalone certification, with the Premium subscription recommended rather than required — which matters when you are paying in rupees. It is taken online, with the exam scope emailed to you once you begin the process.
Where these details come from
Every fact on this page was read off the vendor’s own documentation. Vendors change exam content, pricing and retirement dates without notice, so check these before you book.
76.7% or above. INE publishes this figure directly on the certification page — unusually, because it does not publish a pass mark for any of its other security exams. Scoring is automatic and, in INE's words, 'you will receive your results immediately'.
How does the exam start — do I book a slot?
No slot booking. INE states that once you click 'Begin certification process', you receive an email with instructions regarding the scope of the engagement, and that 'this letter will contain everything you need to know to take your exam'. There is no test centre and no scheduled invigilation.
How is the exam weighted across topics?
Fundamentals of digital forensics is the largest single block at 33%, followed by forensic tools and techniques at 27%. Preservation of evidence and storage device fundamentals are 20% each. Nearly half the exam is therefore foundations and evidence handling rather than tool operation.
Do I need an INE subscription to sit it?
Not according to INE. The eCDFP page is the exception in INE's security range: it states the exam 'can be purchased as a standalone certification' and that it is 'highly recommended' — not required — to buy INE Premium for the Certified Digital Forensics Professional Learning Path. Most other INE security exams say you need both a subscription and a voucher.
Is there a prerequisite certification?
No. INE states that anyone can attempt the exam. It does describe the intended candidate as someone with 'a highly technical understanding of networks, systems, and cyber attacks' and recommends competence in the skills taught in the Digital Forensics Professional Learning Path, but neither is a gate on registration.
Does INE publish how long the exam lasts?
No. The page sets out the pass mark, the domains and the process, but not a duration or a question count, so we will not state one. What is confirmed is that grading is automatic and the result is delivered immediately rather than after manual review.
What happens if I fail the first attempt?
INE states that regular vouchers expire 180 days after purchase and that if you do not pass you complete the included free retake within 14 days, with both attempts submitted before the expiration date. Leaving the first attempt until late in the voucher window can cost you the retake.
What does the eCDFP voucher cost in Sri Lanka?
Our eCDFP voucher is Rs 64,900/= in rupees, which avoids needing a card cleared for US-dollar charges. INE does not publish a US-dollar price on the certification page.
Where to go next
