Pearson VUE Test Centres in Sri Lanka

This is a directory with one piece of arithmetic attached. Nothing on the page is estimated: every centre, address and phone number was read from Pearson VUE's own systems on 2026-10-11, and the at-home rules are copied from Pearson VUE's candidate technical requirements document (v.26.7.1 / Jul 2026).

How the centre list was built

Pearson VUE does not publish a country list. It publishes a locator, one per exam vendor, that returns the 30 centres nearest a point you give it. So the locator was run for each vendor from fourteen points spread across Sri Lanka: Colombo, Kandy, Galle, Jaffna, Kurunegala, Batticaloa, Anuradhapura, Matara, Badulla, Ratnapura, Negombo, Trincomalee, Nuwara Eliya and Vavuniya. Every one of those fourteen searches returned the same 16 Sri Lankan centres, with the remaining rows filled by centres in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. A seventeenth Sri Lankan centre would have outranked those Indian ones from at least one of the fourteen points, which is why 16is treated as the complete set rather than the first page of a longer one. Each centre's Test Center Information page was then opened individually for the telephone number and the centre's own landmark note.

Why the vendor filter matters

Being a Pearson VUE centre is not the same as delivering a given vendor's exams. Microsoft and AWS both returned all 16 centres. Google Cloud returned 14: two centres that deliver Microsoft and AWS exams were absent from every Google Cloud search. That is a real difference, not noise, and it is the reason the vendor is a filter rather than a label. For CompTIA, Cisco, Fortinet, Other, Pearson VUE has moved the anonymous centre search into an application that requires a candidate sign-in, so there was no public page to read on 2026-10-11. For those vendors the tool shows the Pearson VUE centres and says plainly that the vendor match is unconfirmed, instead of implying a check that was not done.

The counts shown on the page are computed twice by two different routes, once by walking the centres and tallying the vendors each lists, and once by walking the vendors and filtering the centres. The page reports whether the two agree, and today they do. A mistyped vendor id in one row changes one count and not the other, so a transcription slip shows up instead of quietly becoming the answer.

The OnVUE readiness score

The online tab scores your setup against the nine published rules that will stop an OnVUE exam outright, as opposed to the many recommendations that will not. The score is simply the share you pass:

readiness = round(100 × passed / 9)

The nine are: a supported operating system; at least 6 Mbps download; at least 2Mbps upload; exactly one display; a real internal or external webcam; built-in or wired speakers; a walled private room; a private connection with no VPN, proxy, corporate or public network; and a government photo ID whose first and last name match the booking. The bandwidth tests use “at least” exactly as published, so 6.0 Mbps down and 2.0 Mbps up pass, and 5.9Mbps down does not. The score is advisory: it tells you what to fix before you pay. Pearson VUE's own system test is what actually measures the machine, and it is linked from the tool.

Speeds are parsed rather than coerced. A blank field, a word, a negative number or a figure above 100,000 Mbps each produce a named message, because a silent zero would read as a failed bandwidth check rather than as a typo.

From 21 September 2026 NSE 7 exams are delivered only at Pearson VUE authorised test centres. NSE 4, NSE 5 and NSE 6 are still available both at a centre and on OnVUE. Microsoft exams run at a test centre or online through OnVUE. Microsoft asks you to run the system pre-check before you register, not after.

Centres, addresses and telephone numbers were read from Pearson VUE's locator and its per-centre information pages on 2026-10-11, and the list is re-read every 60 days. A centre can close, move or lose a vendor authorisation between re-checks, so confirm on the vendor's own locator before you commit to travel.
