YouTube Monetization Eligibility Checker

This is a checker, not an earnings estimator. Every result is a plain yes/no test against the thresholds YouTube publishes for its two monetization tiers — no CPM, RPM or revenue guessing. You enter five numbers and three channel-status answers; the tool compares each against the official bar and reports what is met, what is short, and by how much.

There are two tiers, each with its own conditions (all values below are the published thresholds):

1. Tier 1 — earlier access (fan funding). Requires 500 subscribers and 3 valid public uploads in the last 90 days and either 3,000 valid public watch hours in the last 12 months or 3,000,000 valid public Shorts views in the last 90 days.
2. Tier 2 — full monetization (ad revenue). Requires 1,000 subscribers and either 4,000 watch hours (12 months) or 10,000,000 Shorts views (90 days).

Before either tier can pass, three base requirements must hold: your country must be a YPP-available region, your channel must have no active Community Guidelines strike, and 2-Step Verification must be enabled on your Google Account. If any base requirement fails, the checker marks both tiers as blockedregardless of your subscriber or watch-hour counts — because YouTube will not accept the application either way. A linked AdSense account is shown as a reminder rather than a hard block: you don't need it to apply, but you do need it to be paid.

One deliberate rule catches most people out: Shorts-feed watch time does not count toward the watch-hours thresholds.Only valid public long-form watch hours do. That is why the tool asks for watch hours and Shorts views in separate fields and treats them as an either/or path — never adding one to the other. The eligibility logic is computed two independent ways (a criteria checklist and the raw boolean formula) and cross-checked to agree on every input, which the card confirms with a “verified two independent ways” note.
