The Fortinet NSE 5 - FortiSwitch 7.6 Administrator exam voucher costs Rs 33,000/= at induwara.lk, payable in Sri Lankan rupees by card or bank transfer. It is an official single-use voucher for the Fortinet exam, not a practice test or a training course. The voucher is valid for 12 months from purchase. After payment our team confirms your order and sends the voucher code by email.
What this voucher is
NSE 5 FortiSwitch Administrator is the official Fortinet exam voucher, sold in Sri Lankan rupees. It is the exam fee itself — a single-use code you redeem when you book your exam with the vendor's testing provider. It is not a training course, a practice test bundle or a study guide.
Each voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, so you can book the exam when you are ready rather than the day you buy.
Who sits this exam
NSE 5 FortiSwitch Administrator is aimed at SOC analysts, network engineers and anyone moving into a security role. It is a professional-level exam and expects real working experience, not just study. Sri Lankan banks, ISPs and BPO firms hire against named security certifications, and the exam fee is usually the part that stalls people.
Why buy it here
Vendor exam fees are quoted in US dollars, which means the rupee price you actually pay depends on your card's rate on the day and whatever your bank adds on top. Here the price is fixed in rupees — Rs 33,000/= — so what you see is what leaves your account.
You can pay by card through PayHere, or by direct bank transfer if you would rather not put an exam fee on a card. Both are confirmed by us before anything is sent.
How delivery works
Delivery is handled by a person, not a script. Once your payment is confirmed, our team contacts you and sends the voucher code to the email address on your order. That usually happens the same day, and you will hear from us either way — if there is any delay sourcing a particular voucher, we tell you rather than leaving the order sitting.
If you need an invoice for an employer or a training budget, say so when you order and we will issue one against the order number.

What you get, and what happens next
What you get
One official single-use exam voucher for NSE 5, NSE 5 FortiSwitch Administrator, covering the exam fee in full. It is a code, not a study course and not a practice test. There is nothing physical to ship and no delivery charge.
When it arrives
Emailed to the address on your order once we have confirmed the payment, by a person rather than automatically. In practice that is usually the same day and almost always within one working day. If sourcing a particular voucher is going to take longer, we tell you rather than leaving the order sitting.
How long it stays valid
12 months from purchase. Book and sit the exam before it expires, a code that has simply run out of time cannot be replaced, so do not buy months ahead of when you plan to use it.
How you redeem it
Book the exam with Pearson VUE as normal, then enter this code at the payment step instead of paying the fee. You choose the date, and whether you sit it at a test centre or from home with OnVUE proctoring.
If the code does not work
If the vendor rejects it when you try to redeem it, tell us straight away and we replace it or refund you in full. Contact us before the voucher’s own expiry date.
If you do not pass
A voucher covers one attempt. A retake needs a new voucher, and the vendor, not us, sets how long you must wait before sitting the exam again. Check the vendor’s retake policy before you book.
Changing your mind
Full refund for any reason as long as we have not yet sent the code, including if you realise you have ordered the wrong exam, which is easy to do when codes look alike. Once the code has been sent it cannot be refunded, because the code is the product and it is single-use. Refunds & delivery in full.

Using QoS and LLDP-MED on FortiSwitch
Configuring the ports required for stack deployment
Configuring switching and routing on FortiSwitch

Configuring switch ports, split port and available transceivers

ACLs, security profiles and VLAN security mechanisms on FortiSwitch
Monitoring and troubleshooting — packet capturing methods, FortiLink troubleshooting, and tools to view and extract network information from FortiSwitch
Where it leads
This is the access-layer half of Fortinet's Secure Networking track and pairs naturally with NSE 4. It suits engineers moving from generic switching work into a Fortinet-standardised environment. Because it sits at NSE 5 alongside SD-WAN Core Administrator and Secure Wireless LAN Administrator in the same track, it is a sensible second or third Fortinet exam rather than a first one. Note that Fortinet lists no recertification assessment SKU at NSE 5, so renewal means re-sitting an exam.
Sitting this exam in Sri Lanka
Fortinet confirmed that NSE 4, NSE 5 and NSE 6 exams stay available through both OnVUE remote proctoring and Pearson VUE test centres, so you can sit this from home in Sri Lanka rather than travelling for it; if you would rather test in a room, check Pearson VUE's own test-centre locator for a centre near you. FortiSwitch is generally bought by organisations that have already standardised on FortiGate and extended the same vendor into the access layer, so it is worth sitting once you already hold or are working toward the FortiGate exam rather than as a first credential. The exam is offered in English and Japanese. Fortinet's list price is quoted in US dollars excluding tax — buying the voucher locally for {{PRICE}} settles it in rupees instead of putting a dollar charge on a local card.
Where these details come from
Every fact on this page was read off the vendor’s own documentation. Vendors change exam content, pricing and retirement dates without notice, so check these before you book.
How long is the FortiSwitch exam and how many questions?
Fortinet lists it at 70 minutes with 35-40 questions. That is a shorter sitting than NSE 4, which runs 100 minutes with 50-55 questions — the NSE 5 and NSE 6 product exams are tighter and more narrowly scoped.
Which product versions does the current exam cover?
FortiSwitchOS 7.6 and FortiOS 7.6. The earlier Fortinet NSE 5 - FortiSwitch 7.2 Administrator exam is listed as available only until 30 November 2025, so check that any voucher or study material you buy targets the 7.6 version.
Does it cover standalone FortiSwitch or only FortiLink-managed switches?
Both. Fortinet's description of the FortiSwitch Administrator exam covers FortiSwitch management mode and provisioning over the FortiLink protocol, and troubleshooting FortiLink issues is a named exam topic. The exam blueprint also includes deploying FortiSwitch in supported topologies and in a multi-tenancy environment.
What experience does Fortinet expect before I sit it?
No exam is required as a prerequisite. Fortinet recommends a minimum of six months of hands-on experience with FortiSwitch devices actually deployed in a network — this is a configuration and troubleshooting exam, not a theory paper.
Is it graded on a percentage?
No. Fortinet reports the result as pass or fail with no published percentage threshold, and a score report becomes available in your Pearson VUE account after the attempt. Fortinet does not publish percentage weightings for the four FortiSwitch topic areas either, unlike the NSE 4 and FortiManager blueprints.
How soon can I retake it if I fail?
You must wait 15 consecutive days after a failed attempt before retaking. Passed exams cannot be re-sat — Pearson VUE blocks registration for an exam you have already cleared.
Can I take it online from Sri Lanka?
Yes. Fortinet confirmed NSE 4, 5 and 6 exams remain available through both OnVUE remote proctoring and Pearson VUE test centres. Only NSE 7 lost OnVUE delivery, from 21 September 2026.
How long is the certification good for?
Fortinet states all NSE certifications are active for two years from the date the certification requirements are fulfilled, and expiration dates cannot be extended. The voucher itself is separately valid for 365 days from issue.
Where to go next
The step before and the step after this one, plus a comparable exam from another vendor.
