DP-300: Microsoft Azure Database Administrator Associate
The DP-300 exam voucher costs Rs 13,000/= at induwara.lk, payable in Sri Lankan rupees by card or bank transfer. It is an official single-use voucher for the Microsoft exam, not a practice test or a training course. The voucher is valid for 24 months from purchase. After payment our team confirms your order and sends the voucher code by email.
What this voucher is
Sitting DP-300: Microsoft Azure Database Administrator Associate? This is the Microsoft exam voucher, priced locally. It is the exam fee itself — a single-use code you redeem when you book your exam with the vendor's testing provider. It is not a training course, a practice test bundle or a study guide.
Each voucher is valid for 24 months from the date of purchase, so you can book the exam when you are ready rather than the day you buy.
Who sits this exam
DP-300: Microsoft Azure Database Administrator Associate is aimed at analysts, data engineers and developers building on data platforms. It sits at associate level and assumes some hands-on experience with the platform. Data and AI roles are the fastest-growing technical postings in Colombo, and most of them name a platform credential.
Why buy it here
Vendor exam fees are quoted in US dollars, which means the rupee price you actually pay depends on your card's rate on the day and whatever your bank adds on top. Here the price is fixed in rupees — Rs 13,000/= — so what you see is what leaves your account.
You can pay by card through PayHere, or by direct bank transfer if you would rather not put an exam fee on a card. Both are confirmed by us before anything is sent.
How delivery works
Delivery is handled by a person, not a script. Once your payment is confirmed, our team contacts you and sends the voucher code to the email address on your order. That usually happens the same day, and you will hear from us either way — if there is any delay sourcing a particular voucher, we tell you rather than leaving the order sitting.
If you need an invoice for an employer or a training budget, say so when you order and we will issue one against the order number.

What you get, and what happens next
What you get
One official single-use exam voucher for DP-300, DP-300: Microsoft Azure Database Administrator Associate, covering the exam fee in full. It is a code, not a study course and not a practice test. There is nothing physical to ship and no delivery charge.
When it arrives
Emailed to the address on your order once we have confirmed the payment, by a person rather than automatically. In practice that is usually the same day and almost always within one working day. If sourcing a particular voucher is going to take longer, we tell you rather than leaving the order sitting.
How long it stays valid
24 months from purchase. Book and sit the exam before it expires, a code that has simply run out of time cannot be replaced, so do not buy months ahead of when you plan to use it.
How you redeem it
Book the exam with Pearson VUE as normal, then enter this code at the payment step instead of paying the fee. You choose the date, and whether you sit it at a test centre or from home with OnVUE proctoring.
If the code does not work
If the vendor rejects it when you try to redeem it, tell us straight away and we replace it or refund you in full. Contact us before the voucher’s own expiry date.
If you do not pass
A voucher covers one attempt. A retake needs a new voucher, and the vendor, not us, sets how long you must wait before sitting the exam again. Check the vendor’s retake policy before you book.
Changing your mind
Full refund for any reason as long as we have not yet sent the code, including if you realise you have ordered the wrong exam, which is easy to do when codes look alike. Once the code has been sent it cannot be refunded, because the code is the product and it is single-use. Refunds & delivery in full.
What the exam covers
Plan and implement data platform resources (15-20%)
Implement a secure environment (20-25%)
Monitor, configure, and optimize database resources (20-25%)
Configure and manage automation of tasks (15-20%)
Plan and configure a high availability and disaster recovery (HA/DR) environment (20-25%)
Migration strategy: online and offline migrations, Azure SQL Managed Instance database copy and move, troubleshooting
Microsoft Entra ID authentication, TDE, Always Encrypted (including VBS enclaves), dynamic data masking, ledger, row-level security
Query Store, Extended Events, database watcher, DMVs, index and statistics maintenance, automatic tuning
Active geo-replication, Always On availability groups and failover cluster instances, failover groups, log shipping
Where it leads
DP-300 is the current Microsoft credential for the Azure database administrator role and covers the hybrid setup many organisations actually run — SQL Server on-premises alongside Azure SQL. The HA/DR and migration objectives map directly onto cloud migration projects. It renews free each year on Microsoft Learn, so the credential stays current without another exam fee.
Sitting this exam in Sri Lanka
Microsoft sets exam prices by the country or region in which the exam is proctored. Pearson VUE's published Microsoft price list puts Sri Lanka at 58 USD for a role-based exam like DP-300, with a 32 USD academic rate for students and educators — against 165 USD and 91 USD for the same exam proctored in the United States. This voucher is {{PRICE}}. Microsoft delivers exams either at a Pearson VUE test centre or online to your home or office under OnVUE proctoring; Microsoft notes that online exams are available in most, but not all, countries and regions, so confirm availability with Pearson VUE when you book. DP-300 is not offered in Sinhala or Tamil, and Microsoft's study guide states that if the exam is not available in your preferred language you can request an additional 30 minutes to complete it.
Where these details come from
Every fact on this page was read off the vendor’s own documentation. Vendors change exam content, pricing and retirement dates without notice, so check these before you book.
How long is the DP-300 exam and how many questions are there?
You get 100 minutes of exam time, and Microsoft's duration table lists 120 minutes of seat time for an associate exam without labs, which covers instructions and the candidate agreement. Microsoft does not publish a fixed question count for DP-300, stating only that most of its certification exams typically contain 40 to 60 questions.
What score do I need to pass DP-300?
700 on a scale of 1 to 1,000. Microsoft states that because this is a scaled score it may not equal 70% of the points — the requirement moves with the difficulty of the question set you receive.
Do I need DP-900 or any other certification before DP-300?
No. Microsoft's DP-300 page lists no prerequisite. Microsoft's DP-900 page says Azure Data Fundamentals can be used to prepare for role-based certifications like Azure Database Administrator Associate, but that it is not a prerequisite for any of them.
Which areas carry the most marks?
Three areas are weighted at 20-25% each: implementing a secure environment; monitoring, configuring and optimizing database resources; and planning and configuring HA/DR. Planning and implementing data platform resources, and configuring and managing automation of tasks, are 15-20% each.
If I fail, how soon can I retake it?
24 hours after the first attempt. Microsoft imposes a 14-day waiting period between all subsequent attempts, up to five, and you may not take a given exam more than five times within 12 months of your first attempt. Microsoft states you must pay to retake the exam.
Does the certification expire?
Yes. The certification page shows a Renewal Frequency of 12 months, and Microsoft's renewal page states that renewals are free — you pass a short, unproctored, open-book online assessment on Microsoft Learn before your certification expires, within a six-month eligibility window.
Can I take DP-300 in a language other than English?
Yes. Microsoft lists English, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Japanese, Korean, French, German, Portuguese (Brazil), Italian and Spanish. If the exam is not available in your preferred language, the study guide says you can request an additional 30 minutes.
Where to go next
The step before and the step after this one, plus a comparable exam from another vendor.
