The PL-300 exam voucher costs Rs 13,000/= at induwara.lk, payable in Sri Lankan rupees by card or bank transfer. It is an official single-use voucher for the Microsoft exam, not a practice test or a training course. The voucher is valid for 12 months from purchase. After payment our team confirms your order and sends the voucher code by email.
What this voucher is
Sitting PL-300: Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate? This is the Microsoft exam voucher, priced locally. It is the exam fee itself — a single-use code you redeem when you book your exam with the vendor's testing provider. It is not a training course, a practice test bundle or a study guide.
Each voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, so you can book the exam when you are ready rather than the day you buy.
Who sits this exam
PL-300: Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate is aimed at analysts, data engineers and developers building on data platforms. It sits at associate level and assumes some hands-on experience with the platform. Data and AI roles are the fastest-growing technical postings in Colombo, and most of them name a platform credential.
Why buy it here
Vendor exam fees are quoted in US dollars, which means the rupee price you actually pay depends on your card's rate on the day and whatever your bank adds on top. Here the price is fixed in rupees — Rs 13,000/= — so what you see is what leaves your account.
You can pay by card through PayHere, or by direct bank transfer if you would rather not put an exam fee on a card. Both are confirmed by us before anything is sent.
How delivery works
Delivery is handled by a person, not a script. Once your payment is confirmed, our team contacts you and sends the voucher code to the email address on your order. That usually happens the same day, and you will hear from us either way — if there is any delay sourcing a particular voucher, we tell you rather than leaving the order sitting.
If you need an invoice for an employer or a training budget, say so when you order and we will issue one against the order number.

What you get, and what happens next
What you get
One official single-use exam voucher for PL-300, PL-300: Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate, covering the exam fee in full. It is a code, not a study course and not a practice test. There is nothing physical to ship and no delivery charge.
When it arrives
Emailed to the address on your order once we have confirmed the payment, by a person rather than automatically. In practice that is usually the same day and almost always within one working day. If sourcing a particular voucher is going to take longer, we tell you rather than leaving the order sitting.
How long it stays valid
12 months from purchase. Book and sit the exam before it expires, a code that has simply run out of time cannot be replaced, so do not buy months ahead of when you plan to use it.
How you redeem it
Book the exam with Pearson VUE as normal, then enter this code at the payment step instead of paying the fee. You choose the date, and whether you sit it at a test centre or from home with OnVUE proctoring.
If the code does not work
If the vendor rejects it when you try to redeem it, tell us straight away and we replace it or refund you in full. Contact us before the voucher’s own expiry date.
If you do not pass
A voucher covers one attempt. A retake needs a new voucher, and the vendor, not us, sets how long you must wait before sitting the exam again. Check the vendor’s retake policy before you book.
Changing your mind
Full refund for any reason as long as we have not yet sent the code, including if you realise you have ordered the wrong exam, which is easy to do when codes look alike. Once the code has been sent it cannot be refunded, because the code is the product and it is single-use. Refunds & delivery in full.

Where it leads
PL-300 is the most widely recognised Power BI credential and the most broadly useful exam in this set for a Sri Lankan candidate, because Power BI reporting work exists across sectors rather than only at Microsoft partners. Relevant roles include data analyst, BI analyst, MIS executive and reporting specialist, in banking and finance, telecommunications, apparel, and the BPO and KPO firms that run analytics for overseas clients. The skills also transfer to remote and freelance analytics work billed in foreign currency.
Sitting this exam in Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka sits in the lowest band on Pearson VUE's published Microsoft price list at 58 USD for a role-based exam, against 165 USD for the United States, with a lower academic rate again for eligible students and educators — one of the cheapest ways anywhere to obtain a globally recognised analytics certification. The exam is offered in ten languages and can be sat at a Pearson VUE test centre or from home under OnVUE online proctoring. Power BI is already common in Sri Lankan finance and BPO reporting teams, so this is a credential you can often apply in your current job rather than needing to change roles first.
Where these details come from
Every fact on this page was read off the vendor’s own documentation. Vendors change exam content, pricing and retirement dates without notice, so check these before you book.
Is PL-300 being retired or renamed like the other PL exams?
No. Microsoft's credential-retirement page lists Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate (retired 31 August 2026), Power Automate RPA Developer Associate and Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (both 30 June 2026), and separately Microsoft is moving PL-400 to AB-400 in October 2026. PL-300 is not part of any of that. It does not appear on the retirement page and no exam-code change has been announced for it. Its skills measured were last updated on 20 April 2026.
What does PL-300 cover?
Four weighted areas from Microsoft's published outline: prepare the data (25-30%), model the data (25-30%), visualize and analyze the data (25-30%), and manage and secure Power BI (15-20%). In practice the heaviest technical demands are Power Query for data preparation and DAX for measures and calculated columns — Microsoft states you should be proficient in both. The manage-and-secure area includes workspace roles, item-level access and row-level security roles.
How long is the exam and what is the pass mark?
Microsoft's certification page states you have 100 minutes; its duration table recommends 120 minutes of seat time. The pass mark is 700 on a 1 to 1,000 scale. Microsoft is explicit that this is a scaled score, not 70% of questions correct — a harder question set needs fewer raw points to reach 700 and an easier one needs more.
Do I need any certification before PL-300?
No. Microsoft lists no prerequisite certification for PL-300. PL-900, the Power Platform Fundamentals exam, is useful background but Microsoft states on its own page that it is not a prerequisite for any role-based certification. You can go straight to PL-300.
How many questions are on the exam?
Microsoft does not publish a fixed number and says the count is subject to change as the exam is updated. Its official guidance is that most Microsoft certification exams typically contain between 40 and 60 questions. Microsoft's exam-experience page shows the question types you may meet, including multiple choice, drag and drop, hot area, build list, case studies and labs.
Why is PL-300 cheaper in Sri Lanka than the price quoted on most websites?
Microsoft sets exam prices by the country the exam is proctored in, not by a single world price. On Pearson VUE's published Microsoft price list, Sri Lanka sits in the lowest band on the sheet: 58 USD for a role-based exam against 165 USD for the United States, with a lower academic rate again for eligible students and educators. That is why figures quoted on international sites look nothing like ours. Our voucher price is Rs 13,000/=.
How long must I wait if I fail?
Microsoft's retake policy lets you sit again 24 hours after a first failure. A 14-day waiting period is imposed between all subsequent attempts, up to five, and you may not take the same exam more than five times within 12 months of your first attempt. You must pay to retake, so a failed sitting means buying another voucher.
Where to go next
