The PL-900 exam voucher costs Rs 13,000/= at induwara.lk, payable in Sri Lankan rupees by card or bank transfer. It is an official single-use voucher for the Microsoft exam, not a practice test or a training course. The voucher is valid for 24 months from purchase. After payment our team confirms your order and sends the voucher code by email.
What this voucher is
PL-900: Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals is the official Microsoft exam voucher, sold in Sri Lankan rupees. It is the exam fee itself — a single-use code you redeem when you book your exam with the vendor's testing provider. It is not a training course, a practice test bundle or a study guide.
Each voucher is valid for 24 months from the date of purchase, so you can book the exam when you are ready rather than the day you buy.
Who sits this exam
PL-900: Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals is aimed at functional consultants, developers and implementation partners. It is an entry-level exam, so there is no formal prerequisite — it is a reasonable first certification. ERP and CRM implementation partners in Sri Lanka staff projects against these exact certifications.
Why buy it here
Vendor exam fees are quoted in US dollars, which means the rupee price you actually pay depends on your card's rate on the day and whatever your bank adds on top. Here the price is fixed in rupees — Rs 13,000/= — so what you see is what leaves your account.
You can pay by card through PayHere, or by direct bank transfer if you would rather not put an exam fee on a card. Both are confirmed by us before anything is sent.
How delivery works
Delivery is handled by a person, not a script. Once your payment is confirmed, our team contacts you and sends the voucher code to the email address on your order. That usually happens the same day, and you will hear from us either way — if there is any delay sourcing a particular voucher, we tell you rather than leaving the order sitting.
If you need an invoice for an employer or a training budget, say so when you order and we will issue one against the order number.

What you get, and what happens next
What you get
One official single-use exam voucher for PL-900, PL-900: Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals, covering the exam fee in full. It is a code, not a study course and not a practice test. There is nothing physical to ship and no delivery charge.
When it arrives
Emailed to the address on your order once we have confirmed the payment, by a person rather than automatically. In practice that is usually the same day and almost always within one working day. If sourcing a particular voucher is going to take longer, we tell you rather than leaving the order sitting.
How long it stays valid
24 months from purchase. Book and sit the exam before it expires, a code that has simply run out of time cannot be replaced, so do not buy months ahead of when you plan to use it.
How you redeem it
Book the exam with Pearson VUE as normal, then enter this code at the payment step instead of paying the fee. You choose the date, and whether you sit it at a test centre or from home with OnVUE proctoring.
If the code does not work
If the vendor rejects it when you try to redeem it, tell us straight away and we replace it or refund you in full. Contact us before the voucher’s own expiry date.
If you do not pass
A voucher covers one attempt. A retake needs a new voucher, and the vendor, not us, sets how long you must wait before sitting the exam again. Check the vendor’s retake policy before you book.
Changing your mind
Full refund for any reason as long as we have not yet sent the code, including if you realise you have ordered the wrong exam, which is easy to do when codes look alike. Once the code has been sent it cannot be refunded, because the code is the product and it is single-use. Refunds & delivery in full.
What the exam covers
Describe the business value of Microsoft Power Platform (5-10%)
Manage the Microsoft Power Platform environment (20-25%)
Demonstrate the capabilities of Power Apps (20-25%)
Demonstrate the capabilities of Power Automate (20-25%)
Describe features and capabilities of agents in Microsoft Copilot Studio (20-25%)
Microsoft Dataverse, connectors and Power Fx business logic
Power Platform administration, governance and application lifecycle management
Where it leads
On its own PL-900 is a starting credential rather than a hiring one, but it does two useful things: it puts a verifiable Microsoft certification on a CV that may have none, and it gives you the vocabulary for Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse and Copilot Studio that internal business-application roles increasingly ask for. For Sri Lankan undergraduates and junior BPO staff it is a low-risk way to test whether the Power Platform track suits you before committing to PL-300 or a developer exam.
Sitting this exam in Sri Lanka
This is the cheapest route into a Microsoft certification from Sri Lanka. Pearson VUE's published price list puts Sri Lanka in the lowest band for fundamentals exams at 44 USD, against 99 USD for the United States, with a lower academic rate again for eligible students and educators. Microsoft also lists a second scheduling route for PL-900 that the associate exams do not have: Certiport, if you are a student or an educator. The exam runs 45 minutes and is offered in twelve languages, and Microsoft states that fundamentals certifications do not expire, so there is no recurring cost once you hold it.
Where these details come from
Every fact on this page was read off the vendor’s own documentation. Vendors change exam content, pricing and retirement dates without notice, so check these before you book.
How long is PL-900 and how does it differ from the associate exams?
Microsoft's page states 45 minutes of exam time, against 100 minutes for the associate exams here, and its duration table allows 65 minutes of seat time. It is also cheaper and sits at a lower difficulty level. One practical difference: Microsoft says you can access Microsoft Learn during an associate or expert exam, but that this resource is not available on fundamentals exams.
Does the PL-900 certification expire?
No. Microsoft's certification renewal page states directly that fundamentals certifications do not expire. The PL-900 certification page also shows no renewal frequency, unlike role-based certification pages which display 12 months. Pass once and you hold it.
Is PL-900 required before PL-300 or a developer exam?
No. Microsoft states on the PL-900 page that you can use this exam to prepare for role-based certifications but that it is not a prerequisite for any of them. If you already work with Power Apps or Power BI you can go straight to the associate exam and skip PL-900 entirely.
What does the exam actually cover?
Five weighted areas: the business value of Power Platform (5-10%); managing the Power Platform environment (20-25%); the capabilities of Power Apps (20-25%); the capabilities of Power Automate (20-25%); and the features and capabilities of agents in Microsoft Copilot Studio (20-25%). Dataverse and connectors run through the exam. The July 2026 update brought the Copilot Studio agent content in and removed the Power Pages objectives.
Can students book this through Certiport?
Yes. Microsoft lists two scheduling routes on the PL-900 page: Pearson VUE, and 'Schedule through Certiport if you are a student or an educator'. Academic pricing on Pearson VUE's published list is also lower again for eligible candidates — 31 USD for a fundamentals exam in Sri Lanka against the 44 USD commercial rate.
Why is the Sri Lankan price lower than the price shown on international sites?
Microsoft prices exams by the country the exam is proctored in. On Pearson VUE's published Microsoft price list, Sri Lanka sits in the lowest band on the sheet: 44 USD for a fundamentals exam against 99 USD for the United States, with a lower academic rate again for eligible students and educators. Our voucher price is Rs 13,000/=.
How long must I wait if I fail?
Microsoft's retake policy lets you sit again 24 hours after a first failure. A 14-day waiting period is imposed between all subsequent attempts, up to five, and you may not take the same exam more than five times within 12 months of your first attempt. You must pay to retake, so a failed sitting means buying another voucher.
Where to go next
The step before and the step after this one, plus a comparable exam from another vendor.
