SC-300: Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator Associate
The SC-300 exam voucher costs Rs 11,700/= at induwara.lk, payable in Sri Lankan rupees by card or bank transfer. It is an official single-use voucher for the Microsoft exam, not a practice test or a training course. The voucher is valid for 12 months from purchase. After payment our team confirms your order and sends the voucher code by email.
What this voucher is
Sitting SC-300: Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator Associate? This is the Microsoft exam voucher, priced locally. It is the exam fee itself — a single-use code you redeem when you book your exam with the vendor's testing provider. It is not a training course, a practice test bundle or a study guide.
Each voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, so you can book the exam when you are ready rather than the day you buy.
Who sits this exam
SC-300: Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator Associate is aimed at system administrators, network engineers and support staff. It sits at associate level and assumes some hands-on experience with the platform. These are the foundations most cloud and security tracks assume you already have.
Why buy it here
Vendor exam fees are quoted in US dollars, which means the rupee price you actually pay depends on your card's rate on the day and whatever your bank adds on top. Here the price is fixed in rupees — Rs 11,700/= — so what you see is what leaves your account.
You can pay by card through PayHere, or by direct bank transfer if you would rather not put an exam fee on a card. Both are confirmed by us before anything is sent.
How delivery works
Delivery is handled by a person, not a script. Once your payment is confirmed, our team contacts you and sends the voucher code to the email address on your order. That usually happens the same day, and you will hear from us either way — if there is any delay sourcing a particular voucher, we tell you rather than leaving the order sitting.
If you need an invoice for an employer or a training budget, say so when you order and we will issue one against the order number.

What you get, and what happens next
What you get
One official single-use exam voucher for SC-300, SC-300: Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator Associate, covering the exam fee in full. It is a code, not a study course and not a practice test. There is nothing physical to ship and no delivery charge.
When it arrives
Emailed to the address on your order once we have confirmed the payment, by a person rather than automatically. In practice that is usually the same day and almost always within one working day. If sourcing a particular voucher is going to take longer, we tell you rather than leaving the order sitting.
How long it stays valid
12 months from purchase. Book and sit the exam before it expires, a code that has simply run out of time cannot be replaced, so do not buy months ahead of when you plan to use it.
How you redeem it
Book the exam with Pearson VUE as normal, then enter this code at the payment step instead of paying the fee. You choose the date, and whether you sit it at a test centre or from home with OnVUE proctoring.
If the code does not work
If the vendor rejects it when you try to redeem it, tell us straight away and we replace it or refund you in full. Contact us before the voucher’s own expiry date.
If you do not pass
A voucher covers one attempt. A retake needs a new voucher, and the vendor, not us, sets how long you must wait before sitting the exam again. Check the vendor’s retake policy before you book.
Changing your mind
Full refund for any reason as long as we have not yet sent the code, including if you realise you have ordered the wrong exam, which is easy to do when codes look alike. Once the code has been sent it cannot be refunded, because the code is the product and it is single-use. Refunds & delivery in full.
What the exam covers
Implement and manage user identities — 20–25%
Implement authentication and access management — Microsoft's 'skills at a glance' summary gives 25–30%, while the heading on that section of the same study guide gives 20–25%; treat it as the largest or joint-largest area
Plan and implement workload identities — 20–25%
Plan and automate identity governance — 20–25%
Microsoft Entra tenant configuration, built-in and custom roles, administrative units, external collaboration and cross-tenant access settings
Authentication methods including certificate-based authentication, Temporary Access Pass, OAuth 2.0 tokens, Microsoft Authenticator and passkeys (FIDO2), plus tenant-wide MFA and self-service password reset
Monitoring with sign-in, audit and provisioning logs, diagnostic settings, KQL in Log Analytics and Identity Secure Score
Where it leads
Identity is where most Microsoft 365 and Azure security work now starts, and SC-300 maps to it directly — Microsoft classifies the certification under the security engineer role. The exam is built around what those jobs actually involve: Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management, entitlement management and access reviews. It is an associate-level credential, so it renews annually through a free online assessment rather than a re-sit.
Sitting this exam in Sri Lanka
Any organisation running Microsoft 365 has a Microsoft Entra tenant that someone has to administer, which makes this one of the more directly employable Microsoft credentials for people who want to work locally rather than only for offshore clients. The exam is proctored through Pearson VUE, either at a test centre or online from home. Microsoft states that the price is based on the country or region in which the exam is proctored and does not publish a single list price on the exam page, so the rupee cost of booking directly is not predictable in advance; a local voucher at {{PRICE}} is. One practical warning from Microsoft's own page: register with a personal Microsoft account rather than a work or school account, because exam records tied to an organisational account are lost and unrecoverable if you leave that organisation.
Where these details come from
Every fact on this page was read off the vendor’s own documentation. Vendors change exam content, pricing and retirement dates without notice, so check these before you book.
How long is SC-300 and how many questions will I get?
Microsoft's exam page says you will have 100 minutes to complete it, and its duration table allocates 120 minutes of seat time for an associate exam without labs, which covers the instructions, the candidate agreement and the optional comments at the end. Microsoft does not publish a question count per exam — it says most of its certification exams typically contain between 40 and 60 questions.
What score do I need to pass SC-300?
700 or greater on a scale of 1 to 1,000. Microsoft notes that because it is a scaled score it may not equal 70% of the points available: for easier sets of questions more points are required to pass, and for harder sets fewer. There is no penalty for guessing, and on most multi-part questions you earn a point for each correctly answered component.
Can I look things up during the exam?
Yes, within limits. Microsoft allows access to learn.microsoft.com during associate and expert role-based exams like SC-300 — everything on the domain except Q&A, practice assessments and your profile. No extra time is added and the exam timer keeps running, so Microsoft says it is meant for the occasional lookup rather than for answering every question.
Does the certification expire?
Yes, after one year — the certification page lists a renewal frequency of 12 months. Renewal is free: you pass a shorter, unproctored, open-book assessment on Microsoft Learn during a six-month eligibility window, and passing extends the certification by one year from the expiration date. There is no limit on renewal assessment retakes as long as you pass before expiry.
What is weighted most heavily on SC-300?
Implement authentication and access management — the area covering Conditional Access, MFA, passkeys, ID Protection and Global Secure Access. Microsoft's summary list puts it at 25–30% while the section heading on the same study guide says 20–25%, so treat it as the largest or joint-largest area alongside the other three, which are each 20–25%. The outline was last updated on 27 April 2026, with minor changes to authentication, ID Protection, Defender for Cloud Apps and privileged access.
How soon can I retake SC-300 if I fail?
24 hours after the first attempt. A 14-day waiting period applies between all subsequent attempts, you may not take the same exam more than five times within a 12-month period from your first attempt, and you must pay for each attempt.
Do I need SC-900 first?
No, there are no formal prerequisites. Microsoft does expect familiarity with Azure, Microsoft 365 services and workloads, Active Directory Domain Services, PowerShell and Kusto Query Language. If identity administration is new to you, SC-900 covers the concepts at fundamentals level and is a reasonable stepping stone.
Where to go next
The step before and the step after this one, plus a comparable exam from another vendor.
