AB-900: Microsoft Copilot and Agentic AI Fundamentals
The AB-900 exam voucher costs Rs 13,000/= at induwara.lk, payable in Sri Lankan rupees by card or bank transfer. It is an official single-use voucher for the Microsoft exam, not a practice test or a training course. The voucher is valid for 12 months from purchase. After payment our team confirms your order and sends the voucher code by email.
What this voucher is
The Microsoft voucher for AB-900: Microsoft Copilot and Agentic AI Fundamentals, with no currency conversion to work out. It is the exam fee itself — a single-use code you redeem when you book your exam with the vendor's testing provider. It is not a training course, a practice test bundle or a study guide.
Each voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, so you can book the exam when you are ready rather than the day you buy.
Who sits this exam
AB-900: Microsoft Copilot and Agentic AI Fundamentals is aimed at analysts, data engineers and developers building on data platforms. It is an entry-level exam, so there is no formal prerequisite — it is a reasonable first certification. Data and AI roles are the fastest-growing technical postings in Colombo, and most of them name a platform credential.
Why buy it here
Vendor exam fees are quoted in US dollars, which means the rupee price you actually pay depends on your card's rate on the day and whatever your bank adds on top. Here the price is fixed in rupees — Rs 13,000/= — so what you see is what leaves your account.
You can pay by card through PayHere, or by direct bank transfer if you would rather not put an exam fee on a card. Both are confirmed by us before anything is sent.
How delivery works
Delivery is handled by a person, not a script. Once your payment is confirmed, our team contacts you and sends the voucher code to the email address on your order. That usually happens the same day, and you will hear from us either way — if there is any delay sourcing a particular voucher, we tell you rather than leaving the order sitting.
If you need an invoice for an employer or a training budget, say so when you order and we will issue one against the order number.

What you get, and what happens next
What you get
One official single-use exam voucher for AB-900, AB-900: Microsoft Copilot and Agentic AI Fundamentals, covering the exam fee in full. It is a code, not a study course and not a practice test. There is nothing physical to ship and no delivery charge.
When it arrives
Emailed to the address on your order once we have confirmed the payment, by a person rather than automatically. In practice that is usually the same day and almost always within one working day. If sourcing a particular voucher is going to take longer, we tell you rather than leaving the order sitting.
How long it stays valid
12 months from purchase. Book and sit the exam before it expires, a code that has simply run out of time cannot be replaced, so do not buy months ahead of when you plan to use it.
How you redeem it
Book the exam with Pearson VUE as normal, then enter this code at the payment step instead of paying the fee. You choose the date, and whether you sit it at a test centre or from home with OnVUE proctoring.
If the code does not work
If the vendor rejects it when you try to redeem it, tell us straight away and we replace it or refund you in full. Contact us before the voucher’s own expiry date.
If you do not pass
A voucher covers one attempt. A retake needs a new voucher, and the vendor, not us, sets how long you must wait before sitting the exam again. Check the vendor’s retake policy before you book.
Changing your mind
Full refund for any reason as long as we have not yet sent the code, including if you realise you have ordered the wrong exam, which is easy to do when codes look alike. Once the code has been sent it cannot be refunded, because the code is the product and it is single-use. Refunds & delivery in full.

Where it leads
AB-900 is the entry credential in Microsoft's Copilot and agent administration track, aimed at the people who have to make an AI-enabled Microsoft 365 tenant safe rather than the people building models — Microsoft's own description is that it demonstrates how to support, secure and protect an AI-enabled Microsoft 365 environment. It maps to Microsoft 365 administrator, modern workplace administrator, IT support and compliance analyst work, and it is the credential that shows you understand oversharing, sensitivity labels and DSPM for AI before Copilot is switched on. Being a Fundamentals certification it never expires, so it stays on your transcript without renewal work.
Sitting this exam in Sri Lanka
On price: the US$99 figure quoted in most guides is the United States price. Microsoft prices exams by the country or region in which they are proctored, and Pearson VUE's official Microsoft price list puts a Fundamentals exam proctored in Sri Lanka at US$44 commercial, or US$31 academic for verified students and educators. A local voucher at {{PRICE}} settles that fee in rupees. On fit: any organisation switching on Microsoft 365 Copilot runs into the same problem — the tenant surfaces documents that were already overshared in SharePoint — and AB-900 is built around exactly that administrative work rather than around AI theory, with a whole objective devoted to identifying and monitoring oversharing. Two scheduling notes: the exam is currently offered in English only, with no Sinhala or Tamil option, and the English version is being updated on 14 October 2026, so check which skills-measured version applies to your booking date. Delivered by Pearson VUE at a test centre or online with an OnVUE proctor; students and educators can also schedule through Certiport.
Where these details come from
Every fact on this page was read off the vendor’s own documentation. Vendors change exam content, pricing and retirement dates without notice, so check these before you book.
Microsoft prices exams by the country or region in which they are proctored, so the US$99 you see quoted is the United States price. Pearson VUE's official Microsoft price list — linked from its Microsoft voucher page and last updated 1 November 2024 — lists a Fundamentals exam proctored in Sri Lanka at US$44 commercial, and US$31 academic if you verify student or educator status with Microsoft before you register.
Is AB-900 an AI exam or a Microsoft 365 administration exam?
An administration exam. Microsoft's own description is that it demonstrates how to support, secure and protect an AI-enabled Microsoft 365 environment. The largest domain is 'Understand data protection and governance tasks for Microsoft 365 and Copilot' at 35–40%, which is mostly Microsoft Purview. Expect sensitivity labels, DLP, retention, eDiscovery and SharePoint oversharing, not model training.
How long is AB-900 and how many questions are there?
Microsoft gives you 45 minutes to complete the assessment, and its exam-duration table sets the seat time for Fundamentals exams at 65 minutes. Microsoft does not publish a question count for AB-900; it says most of its certification exams typically contain 40 to 60 questions. Five minutes of break time is built into the exam clock, and the clock keeps running during a break.
Is the exam changing soon?
Yes. Microsoft states that the English language version of this certification will be updated on 14 October 2026, and the published study guide already shows the skills measured as of that date. The change log marks it as minor and confined to the section 'Identify the core security features of Microsoft 365 services'. If you are booking near that date, check which version applies.
Do I need any prerequisite, or another Microsoft certification first?
No. Microsoft lists no prerequisite for AB-900. It does expect familiarity with Microsoft 365 core services and with the admin centres for Exchange Online, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Entra and Microsoft Purview, plus an understanding of authentication methods, Conditional Access and SSO — but nothing has to be certified before you book.
Does this certification expire?
No. Microsoft 365 Certified: Copilot and Agent Administration Fundamentals is a Fundamentals certification, and Microsoft states plainly that Fundamentals certifications do not expire. Its associate, expert and specialty certifications expire annually unless renewed; this one does not.
Can I take AB-900 in a language other than English?
Not currently. Microsoft's certification page lists English as the only language for this exam. If you must sit it in English rather than your native language, you can request an accommodation for an additional 30 minutes in advance through Pearson VUE's English as a Second Language process; approval is granted case by case.
Can I open Microsoft Learn during the exam?
No. Microsoft allows candidates to browse Microsoft Learn during associate and expert role-based exams, but states that access is not available on Fundamentals exams or GitHub exams. AB-900 is a Fundamentals exam, so it is closed-book.
Where to go next
The step before and the step after this one, plus a comparable exam from another vendor.
