The AZ-104 exam voucher costs Rs 13,000/= at induwara.lk, payable in Sri Lankan rupees by card or bank transfer. It is an official single-use voucher for the Microsoft exam, not a practice test or a training course. The voucher is valid for 12 months from purchase. After payment our team confirms your order and sends the voucher code by email.
What this voucher is
The Microsoft voucher for AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, with no currency conversion to work out. It is the exam fee itself — a single-use code you redeem when you book your exam with the vendor's testing provider. It is not a training course, a practice test bundle or a study guide.
Each voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, so you can book the exam when you are ready rather than the day you buy.
Who sits this exam
AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate is aimed at developers, sysadmins and architects working on cloud platforms. It sits at associate level and assumes some hands-on experience with the platform. Cloud credentials travel further than almost anything else on a Sri Lankan CV, because the platform is identical everywhere.
Why buy it here
Vendor exam fees are quoted in US dollars, which means the rupee price you actually pay depends on your card's rate on the day and whatever your bank adds on top. Here the price is fixed in rupees — Rs 13,000/= — so what you see is what leaves your account.
You can pay by card through PayHere, or by direct bank transfer if you would rather not put an exam fee on a card. Both are confirmed by us before anything is sent.
How delivery works
Delivery is handled by a person, not a script. Once your payment is confirmed, our team contacts you and sends the voucher code to the email address on your order. That usually happens the same day, and you will hear from us either way — if there is any delay sourcing a particular voucher, we tell you rather than leaving the order sitting.
If you need an invoice for an employer or a training budget, say so when you order and we will issue one against the order number.

What you get, and what happens next
What you get
One official single-use exam voucher for AZ-104, AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, covering the exam fee in full. It is a code, not a study course and not a practice test. There is nothing physical to ship and no delivery charge.
When it arrives
Emailed to the address on your order once we have confirmed the payment, by a person rather than automatically. In practice that is usually the same day and almost always within one working day. If sourcing a particular voucher is going to take longer, we tell you rather than leaving the order sitting.
How long it stays valid
12 months from purchase. Book and sit the exam before it expires, a code that has simply run out of time cannot be replaced, so do not buy months ahead of when you plan to use it.
How you redeem it
Book the exam with Pearson VUE as normal, then enter this code at the payment step instead of paying the fee. You choose the date, and whether you sit it at a test centre or from home with OnVUE proctoring.
If the code does not work
If the vendor rejects it when you try to redeem it, tell us straight away and we replace it or refund you in full. Contact us before the voucher’s own expiry date.
If you do not pass
A voucher covers one attempt. A retake needs a new voucher, and the vendor, not us, sets how long you must wait before sitting the exam again. Check the vendor’s retake policy before you book.
Changing your mind
Full refund for any reason as long as we have not yet sent the code, including if you realise you have ordered the wrong exam, which is easy to do when codes look alike. Once the code has been sent it cannot be refunded, because the code is the product and it is single-use. Refunds & delivery in full.

Where it leads
AZ-104 is the most load-bearing certification in Microsoft's Azure track, because it gates both Azure expert credentials. Microsoft states that to become an Azure Solutions Architect Expert you must earn the Azure Administrator Associate certification, and it is one of the two qualifying routes to DevOps Engineer Expert — in practice now the only one open to new candidates, since the alternative, Azure Developer Associate, retired on 31 July 2026. Titles it maps to include Azure administrator, cloud infrastructure engineer, cloud support engineer and systems engineer.
Sitting this exam in Sri Lanka
On price: the US$165 figure quoted in most guides is the United States price. Microsoft prices exams by the country or region in which they are proctored, and Pearson VUE's official Microsoft price list puts a role-based exam proctored in Sri Lanka at US$58 commercial, or US$32 academic if you verify student or educator status with Microsoft before registering. A local voucher at {{PRICE}} settles that fee in rupees instead of requiring a card enabled for foreign-currency transactions. On the exam itself: if your work is cloud infrastructure rather than cloud awareness, this is the credential that matches the job, and it sits on the critical path to both Azure expert badges — so passing it early is worth more than collecting further fundamentals. It is delivered by Pearson VUE at an authorised test centre or online from home with an OnVUE proctor, in ten languages including English, but not Sinhala or Tamil. Allow 120 minutes of seat time for the 100-minute exam, or 140 if labs are served.
Where these details come from
Every fact on this page was read off the vendor’s own documentation. Vendors change exam content, pricing and retirement dates without notice, so check these before you book.
Microsoft prices exams by the country or region in which they are proctored, so the US$165 you see quoted is the United States price. Pearson VUE's official Microsoft price list — linked from its Microsoft voucher page and last updated 1 November 2024 — lists a role-based exam proctored in Sri Lanka at US$58 commercial, and US$32 academic for verified students and educators. You must complete academic verification before you register; Microsoft does not refund the difference afterwards.
How long is AZ-104 and what should I allow for the appointment?
Microsoft gives you 100 minutes to complete the assessment. Its exam-duration page sets the seat time for associate and expert role-based exams without labs at 120 minutes, and 140 minutes for those that may contain labs — so allow the longer window. Five minutes of unscheduled break time is built into the exam clock, and the clock does not stop while you are on a break.
Does AZ-104 include hands-on labs?
It may. Microsoft deliberately does not publish a list of exams with labs, because labs can be removed at any time due to Azure outages or bandwidth issues. Its advice is to prepare as if the exam will have labs. If labs appear they come last, each lab contains between 7 and 15 tasks, tasks are scored on the end result rather than the method you use, and you cannot return to a lab once you leave it.
Do I have to pass AZ-900 before AZ-104?
No. Microsoft lists no prerequisite for AZ-104. What it recommends instead is real experience: familiarity with operating systems, networking, servers and virtualisation, plus experience with PowerShell, Azure CLI, the Azure portal, ARM templates or Bicep files, and Microsoft Entra ID. AZ-900 is a sensible warm-up, not a requirement.
What is weighted heaviest on the exam?
As of the 17 April 2026 update, the two largest areas are Manage Azure identities and governance at 20–25% and Deploy and manage Azure compute resources at 20–25%. Implement and manage storage and Implement and manage virtual networking are each 15–20%, and Monitor and maintain Azure resources is 10–15%.
Does the Azure Administrator Associate certification expire?
Yes — the certification page states a Renewal Frequency of 12 months. Renewal is free and does not mean re-sitting AZ-104. You take a shorter, unproctored, open-book assessment on Microsoft Learn during a six-month eligibility window before your expiry date, and passing extends the certification one year from the expiration date.
Can I use Microsoft Learn during AZ-104?
Yes. Microsoft allows access to everything on the learn.microsoft.com domain during associate and expert role-based exams, excluding Q&A, practice assessments and your own profile. No extra time is added and the exam timer keeps running, so it is for the occasional lookup, not for answering every question — Microsoft says that if you use it that way you will not be able to complete the exam in the time allotted, and that this is by design.
If I fail, when can I retake it?
24 hours after the first attempt, then a 14-day waiting period between all subsequent attempts, up to five attempts within 12 months of your first try. After five failures you are eligible again 12 months from the date of that first attempt. You must pay for each retake, and Microsoft does not refund failed exams.
Where to go next
The step before and the step after this one, plus a comparable exam from another vendor.
