AZ-120: Microsoft Azure for SAP Workloads Specialty

The AZ-120 exam voucher costs Rs 13,000/= at induwara.lk, payable in Sri Lankan rupees by card or bank transfer. It is an official single-use voucher for the Microsoft exam, not a practice test or a training course. The voucher is valid for 12 months from purchase. After payment our team confirms your order and sends the voucher code by email.

What this voucher is

This is a single-use voucher for the Microsoft exam AZ-120: Microsoft Azure for SAP Workloads Specialty. It is the exam fee itself — a single-use code you redeem when you book your exam with the vendor's testing provider. It is not a training course, a practice test bundle or a study guide.

Each voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, so you can book the exam when you are ready rather than the day you buy.

Who sits this exam

AZ-120: Microsoft Azure for SAP Workloads Specialty is aimed at developers, sysadmins and architects working on cloud platforms. It is a specialty exam covering a focused area rather than a broad role. Cloud credentials travel further than almost anything else on a Sri Lankan CV, because the platform is identical everywhere.

Why buy it here

Vendor exam fees are quoted in US dollars, which means the rupee price you actually pay depends on your card's rate on the day and whatever your bank adds on top. Here the price is fixed in rupees — Rs 13,000/= — so what you see is what leaves your account.

You can pay by card through PayHere, or by direct bank transfer if you would rather not put an exam fee on a card. Both are confirmed by us before anything is sent.

How delivery works

Delivery is handled by a person, not a script. Once your payment is confirmed, our team contacts you and sends the voucher code to the email address on your order. That usually happens the same day, and you will hear from us either way — if there is any delay sourcing a particular voucher, we tell you rather than leaving the order sitting.

If you need an invoice for an employer or a training budget, say so when you order and we will issue one against the order number.

What you get, and what happens next

What you get
One official single-use exam voucher for AZ-120, AZ-120: Microsoft Azure for SAP Workloads Specialty, covering the exam fee in full. It is a code, not a study course and not a practice test. There is nothing physical to ship and no delivery charge.
When it arrives
Emailed to the address on your order once we have confirmed the payment, by a person rather than automatically. In practice that is usually the same day and almost always within one working day. If sourcing a particular voucher is going to take longer, we tell you rather than leaving the order sitting.
How long it stays valid
12 months from purchase. Book and sit the exam before it expires, a code that has simply run out of time cannot be replaced, so do not buy months ahead of when you plan to use it.
How you redeem it
Book the exam with Pearson VUE as normal, then enter this code at the payment step instead of paying the fee. You choose the date, and whether you sit it at a test centre or from home with OnVUE proctoring.
If the code does not work
If the vendor rejects it when you try to redeem it, tell us straight away and we replace it or refund you in full. Contact us before the voucher’s own expiry date.
If you do not pass
A voucher covers one attempt. A retake needs a new voucher, and the vendor, not us, sets how long you must wait before sitting the exam again. Check the vendor’s retake policy before you book.
Changing your mind
Full refund for any reason as long as we have not yet sent the code, including if you realise you have ordered the wrong exam, which is easy to do when codes look alike. Once the code has been sent it cannot be refunded, because the code is the product and it is single-use. Refunds & delivery in full.

Where it leads

AZ-120 is the only Microsoft certification aimed squarely at the SAP-on-Azure niche, where SAP Basis skills and cloud infrastructure skills overlap. Microsoft's own audience profile describes the holder as an architect or engineer who designs and manages the SAP landscape on Azure and partners with cloud administrators, cloud database administrators and clients to implement solutions including RISE with SAP. Because the prerequisite knowledge is expensive to acquire, the candidate pool stays small.

Sitting this exam in Sri Lanka

On price: the US$165 figure in most guides is the United States price. Microsoft prices exams by the country or region in which they are proctored, and Pearson VUE's official Microsoft price list puts a role-based or specialty exam proctored in Sri Lanka at US$58 commercial, or US$32 academic for verified students and educators. A local voucher at {{PRICE}} settles that fee in rupees. On fit: AZ-120 only pays off if your work already sits at the intersection of SAP Basis and Azure infrastructure, which in practice means consultancy, systems-integrator or large-enterprise work rather than a first job — treat it as a specialisation, not an entry point. If a client is moving an SAP landscape to Azure or onto RISE with SAP, this is the one Microsoft exam that covers that intersection, and the April 2026 refresh added a dedicated RISE section. It is delivered by Pearson VUE at a test centre or online with an OnVUE proctor, in seven languages including English but not Sinhala or Tamil; you can request an additional 30 minutes in advance through Pearson VUE's English as a Second Language process.

AZ-120 exam fee and questions people ask

What does AZ-120 actually cost in Sri Lanka?
Microsoft prices exams by the country or region in which they are proctored, so the US$165 you see quoted is the United States price. Pearson VUE's official Microsoft price list — linked from its Microsoft voucher page and last updated 1 November 2024 — lists a role-based or specialty exam proctored in Sri Lanka at US$58 commercial, and US$32 academic for verified students and educators.
Do I need to hold AZ-104 before sitting AZ-120?
It is not enforced, but Microsoft states in the AZ-120 study guide, in bold: 'For this exam, we strongly recommend that candidates have an Azure Administrator Associate certification.' The certification page carries the same recommendation. Nothing stops you booking without it, but the exam assumes you can already design virtual networks, storage and VMs on Azure and only then layer SAP on top.
How long is AZ-120 and how many questions are there?
Microsoft gives you 100 minutes to complete the assessment. Allow 120 minutes of seat time, or 140 if the exam serves labs, per Microsoft's exam-duration guidance for associate and expert role-based exams. Microsoft does not publish a question count for AZ-120; it says most of its exams typically contain 40 to 60 questions.
Does AZ-120 cover RISE with SAP?
Yes, since the 17 April 2026 update. The 'Migrate SAP workloads to Azure' domain now contains a dedicated section, 'Design and implement integration with SAP RISE', covering networking design and implementation for SAP RISE, Azure compute, network and storage services with SAP RISE, integration of data management services such as data archiving, and integration of identity and security services.
How much of the exam is high availability and disaster recovery?
Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery (HADR) is 20–25% of the exam, and it goes well beyond concepts: clustering for HANA and SAP Central Services, clustering for SQL, configuring Pacemaker and STONITH, choosing between an Azure fence agent and a STONITH Block Device (SBD), storage-level replication, and an Azure Site Recovery strategy for an SAP infrastructure.
Does the Azure for SAP Workloads Specialty certification expire?
Yes. The certification page states a Renewal Frequency of 12 months, and Microsoft's renewal page confirms that associate, expert and specialty certifications expire annually. Renewal is free and unproctored: you pass a shorter, open-book assessment on Microsoft Learn during the six-month window before your expiry date, which extends the certification one year from the expiration date.
Is the exam available in a language other than English?
Yes — AZ-120 is offered in English, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified), French, German, Spanish and Portuguese (Brazil). It is not offered in Sinhala or Tamil. If you must sit it in English rather than your native language, you may request an accommodation for an additional 30 minutes in advance through Pearson VUE's English as a Second Language process; approval is granted case by case.
What score do I need, and what happens if I fail?
You need 700 out of 1,000 on Microsoft's scaled scoring. If you fail, you wait 24 hours before the second attempt and 14 days between every attempt after that, with a maximum of five attempts within 12 months of your first try. You must pay for each attempt, and Microsoft does not refund exams you do not pass.
