AZ-700: Microsoft Azure Network Engineer Associate

The AZ-700 exam voucher costs Rs 13,000/= at induwara.lk, payable in Sri Lankan rupees by card or bank transfer. It is an official single-use voucher for the Microsoft exam, not a practice test or a training course. The voucher is valid for 12 months from purchase. After payment our team confirms your order and sends the voucher code by email.

What this voucher is

This is a single-use voucher for the Microsoft exam AZ-700: Microsoft Azure Network Engineer Associate. It is the exam fee itself — a single-use code you redeem when you book your exam with the vendor's testing provider. It is not a training course, a practice test bundle or a study guide.

Each voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, so you can book the exam when you are ready rather than the day you buy.

Who sits this exam

AZ-700: Microsoft Azure Network Engineer Associate is aimed at developers, sysadmins and architects working on cloud platforms. It sits at associate level and assumes some hands-on experience with the platform. Cloud credentials travel further than almost anything else on a Sri Lankan CV, because the platform is identical everywhere.

Why buy it here

Vendor exam fees are quoted in US dollars, which means the rupee price you actually pay depends on your card's rate on the day and whatever your bank adds on top. Here the price is fixed in rupees — Rs 13,000/= — so what you see is what leaves your account.

You can pay by card through PayHere, or by direct bank transfer if you would rather not put an exam fee on a card. Both are confirmed by us before anything is sent.

How delivery works

Delivery is handled by a person, not a script. Once your payment is confirmed, our team contacts you and sends the voucher code to the email address on your order. That usually happens the same day, and you will hear from us either way — if there is any delay sourcing a particular voucher, we tell you rather than leaving the order sitting.

If you need an invoice for an employer or a training budget, say so when you order and we will issue one against the order number.

What you get, and what happens next

What you get
One official single-use exam voucher for AZ-700, AZ-700: Microsoft Azure Network Engineer Associate, covering the exam fee in full. It is a code, not a study course and not a practice test. There is nothing physical to ship and no delivery charge.
When it arrives
Emailed to the address on your order once we have confirmed the payment, by a person rather than automatically. In practice that is usually the same day and almost always within one working day. If sourcing a particular voucher is going to take longer, we tell you rather than leaving the order sitting.
How long it stays valid
12 months from purchase. Book and sit the exam before it expires, a code that has simply run out of time cannot be replaced, so do not buy months ahead of when you plan to use it.
How you redeem it
Book the exam with Pearson VUE as normal, then enter this code at the payment step instead of paying the fee. You choose the date, and whether you sit it at a test centre or from home with OnVUE proctoring.
If the code does not work
If the vendor rejects it when you try to redeem it, tell us straight away and we replace it or refund you in full. Contact us before the voucher’s own expiry date.
If you do not pass
A voucher covers one attempt. A retake needs a new voucher, and the vendor, not us, sets how long you must wait before sitting the exam again. Check the vendor’s retake policy before you book.
Changing your mind
Full refund for any reason as long as we have not yet sent the code, including if you realise you have ordered the wrong exam, which is easy to do when codes look alike. Once the code has been sent it cannot be refunded, because the code is the product and it is single-use. Refunds & delivery in full.

Where it leads

AZ-700 maps to Azure network engineer, cloud network architect and hybrid connectivity work. It is the certification that translates an existing on-premises networking career into cloud terms, which is why it appeals to engineers who already hold router and switch vendor certifications. Microsoft's audience profile has the holder working with solution architects, cloud administrators, security engineers, application developers and DevOps engineers. It pairs naturally with AZ-104 and is a sensible stepping stone toward AZ-305, since a large slice of architecture work is connectivity design.

Sitting this exam in Sri Lanka

On price: the US$165 figure in most guides is the United States price. Microsoft prices exams by the country or region in which they are proctored, and Pearson VUE's official Microsoft price list puts a role-based exam proctored in Sri Lanka at US$58 commercial, or US$32 academic for verified students and educators. A local voucher at {{PRICE}} settles that fee in rupees. On fit: AZ-700 is the natural Azure move for an established network engineer, because it maps existing routing, VPN and firewall skills onto Azure rather than starting a career over. It matters most where hybrid connectivity is the actual problem — linking a local data centre to Azure over VPN or ExpressRoute, or running connectivity on a client's behalf. Delivered by Pearson VUE at an authorised test centre or online from home with an OnVUE proctor, in ten languages including English but not Sinhala or Tamil.

AZ-700 exam fee and questions people ask

What does AZ-700 actually cost in Sri Lanka?
Microsoft prices exams by the country or region in which they are proctored, so the US$165 you see quoted is the United States price. Pearson VUE's official Microsoft price list — linked from its Microsoft voucher page and last updated 1 November 2024 — lists a role-based exam proctored in Sri Lanka at US$58 commercial, and US$32 academic for verified students and educators.
How long is AZ-700 and how many questions are there?
Microsoft gives you 100 minutes to complete the assessment. Allow 120 minutes of seat time, or 140 if the exam serves labs, per Microsoft's guidance for associate and expert role-based exams. Microsoft does not publish a question count for AZ-700; it says most of its certification exams typically contain 40 to 60 questions.
How much of AZ-700 is ExpressRoute and VPN?
Design, implement, and manage connectivity services is 20–25% of the exam, and it is dense: site-to-site VPN design including high availability and gateway SKU selection, point-to-site tunnel types and authentication including RADIUS and Microsoft Entra ID, ExpressRoute connectivity models, SKUs and tiers, Global Reach, FastPath, ExpressRoute Direct, peering choices, encryption over ExpressRoute, and Azure Virtual WAN hub architecture.
Do I need AZ-104 before AZ-700?
No. Microsoft lists no prerequisite for AZ-700 and the two are separate associate certifications. What Microsoft does expect is that you can already create and manage compute, storage and networking resources in Azure, and that you understand networking fundamentals — name resolution, network protocols and network address management.
Which domain carries the most marks?
Design and implement core networking infrastructure, at 25–30%. It covers IP addressing and segmentation, subnetting for virtual network gateways, private endpoints, service endpoints, firewalls, application gateways and Azure Bastion, public IP prefixes and custom IP prefixes, name resolution including Azure DNS Private Resolver, VNet peering and user-defined routes, Azure Route Server, NAT Gateway, and network monitoring with Azure Network Watcher.
Does the certification expire?
Yes — the certification page states a Renewal Frequency of 12 months. Renewal costs nothing and does not mean re-sitting AZ-700: you pass a shorter, unproctored, open-book assessment on Microsoft Learn during the six-month window before expiry, and it extends the certification one year from the expiration date.
What score do I need, and what happens if I fail?
700 out of 1,000 on Microsoft's scaled scoring. On a failure you wait 24 hours before the second attempt, then 14 days between all subsequent attempts, with a maximum of five attempts within 12 months of your first try. You must pay for every attempt and Microsoft does not refund exams you do not pass.
Can I look things up on Microsoft Learn during the exam?
Yes. AZ-700 is a role-based exam, and Microsoft allows access to the learn.microsoft.com domain during associate and expert role-based exams, excluding Q&A, practice assessments and your profile. No extra time is added and the exam timer keeps running, so it is useful for confirming a detail, not for working through the paper.
